Work built around real business problems.
Websites, e-commerce redesigns, WordPress products and practical business systems. This is a focused selection of real projects, each showing a different kind of problem I can help solve.
From specialist business sites to full e-commerce redesigns.
The right website depends on the business behind it. These projects range from a complete large-catalogue WooCommerce redesign concept to focused service websites built to turn interest into enquiries.
The Hopsack — WooCommerce redesign
An end-to-end redesign prototype for an established Dublin health and wellness retailer, built around the realities of a large catalogue and a busy online and physical retail operation.
The concept goes well beyond a new homepage. It covers product discovery, department and category navigation, curated mega-menus, filtering, product pages, basket and checkout, as well as editor-friendly controls for the content the team needs to manage.
TorqueLab
A complete WordPress website for an independent automotive diagnostics, servicing and repair specialist in Batterstown, Co. Meath, focused on BMW, Audi, Volkswagen and Škoda.
Customers can review services and fixed-price servicing, request appointments with vehicle details, or contact the workshop directly. A custom pricing manager keeps service prices editable without touching website code.
Claire Toomey — Nutrition & Coaching
A WordPress website for an independent nutrition and coaching business, designed to feel clear, professional and personal without becoming difficult to manage.
The result is a focused, responsive business website that presents the service clearly and keeps routine updates simple.
Useful solutions that can serve more than one business.
Some solutions begin with one business problem and prove useful enough to become public WordPress products. These two are live on WordPress.org.
Retail Cash Manager
Retail Cash Manager manages the physical cash lifecycle from daily Cash-Up through Safes, Cash Drops, Lodgements, Collection and Cash Deliveries. Public version 0.5.0 adds branch-aware People & Access, authenticated staff attribution and configurable second-person approvals while preserving a traceable audit history.

Two-way, order-linked customer messaging built directly into WooCommerce, so conversations stay attached to the order instead of being scattered across separate inboxes.

Many of the tools I build come from day-to-day e-commerce and retail operations: repetitive admin, awkward handovers and information that staff should not have to assemble manually.
That work has included custom reporting, order tracking, promotion management, internal communications and workflow automation — all built around the way the business actually works.
Have a project in mind — whether it looks like these or not?
Tell me what you are trying to build, improve or stop doing manually. We can choose the simplest sensible approach from there.
