Keep the website looked after. Without paying for a full agency retainer.
Website Support is a simple monthly care plan for WordPress sites that need routine maintenance, sensible technical checks and someone familiar with the site when small issues crop up.
Ongoing practical support for a WordPress website that needs regular care without a large maintenance contract.
Monthly support is intended for routine care and small issues. Larger changes, new features and substantial repairs are scoped separately before work begins.
The routine work that helps keep a WordPress site dependable.
The goal is straightforward: deal with the small technical jobs regularly, catch obvious problems early and avoid every little website issue becoming a separate project.
WordPress maintenance
Routine WordPress core, plugin and theme updates are handled with sensible checks rather than simply updating everything blindly.
Basic health checks
Periodic checks for obvious front-end problems, broken functionality and issues that need attention.
Minor fixes
Small technical fixes and housekeeping that can reasonably be dealt with inside the normal maintenance workflow.
Small content changes
Simple edits such as correcting text, updating a link or swapping an existing image can usually be handled as part of support.
Troubleshooting
If something stops behaving as expected, there is already someone familiar with the site who can investigate the problem.
Practical advice
If a new requirement comes up, I can advise whether it is a quick adjustment, an existing-plugin solution or a separate project.
Best for sites that are already built and just need somebody keeping an eye on them.
Website Support is designed for ordinary ongoing maintenance, not for a site that needs hours of development every month.
It works particularly well after a Website Guy project because I already know how the site is put together, but existing WordPress sites can also be considered after an initial review.
- A small business WordPress site
- A straightforward WooCommerce store
- A site that needs routine updates and checks
- Occasional small fixes or content changes
- A business that wants a familiar technical contact
- New pages or substantial redesigns
- New features or custom development
- Large content or product uploads
- Major malware recovery or emergency repair
- Complex integrations or business automation
A light-touch service, not a ticketing maze.
Join the plan
Start the monthly support plan online, or contact me first if the site was built elsewhere and needs an initial look.
I review the setup
I make sure I understand the site, hosting, important plugins and any areas that need particular care.
Routine maintenance
Updates and basic checks are handled as part of the ongoing service rather than waiting for something to fail.
Ask when needed
If a small issue comes up, get in touch. If it falls outside the plan, I’ll explain the extra work before doing it.
Support should remove hassle — not create an unlimited-work grey area.
Small jobs and routine maintenance belong inside the plan. Anything that turns into a proper development task is discussed and quoted separately.
Included in normal support
- Routine WordPress, plugin and theme maintenance
- Basic front-end and functionality checks
- Minor troubleshooting and housekeeping
- Small text, link and existing-image changes
- Advice on sensible next steps when a new need appears
Quoted separately
- New functionality or custom development
- Major design or structural changes
- Large-scale content or catalogue work
- Third-party migrations and complex integrations
- Major recovery work after hacking or severe site failure
- Paid third-party licences and external service charges
The support plan does not itself include website hosting, domain renewal, premium plugin licences or charges from other service providers unless they are specifically agreed separately.
Want somebody keeping the website looked after?
Website Support is for the businesses that would rather have routine maintenance handled than remember to become their own WordPress technician every few weeks.
